Five scholarships given to Shepaug Valley High School Seniors.

Shepaug Friends of Music is proud to announce the award of four $1,000 Merit Scholarships and one $5,000 Recurring Scholarship. The Merit Scholarships were awarded to Sara Stevens, Anna Wolk, Arielle Johnson and Emmeline Pappas. The Recurring Scholarship was awarded to Anna Carlson and is given over four years to a student who pursues a music related education. All of these students consistently contributed to the success of Shepaug High School music programs through their commitment and dedication.

Eighth Grade Graduate Awards

The Shepaug Friends of Music recognized two eighth grade students at the Shepaug Valley Middle School who, through attitude, conduct and achievements have done the most to promote the best interests of the school's music programs in the 2008-2009 academic year.

Fifth Grade Graduate Awards

In addition, inscribed plaques were awarded to students in honor of their outstanding contribution to the music programs in their schools.

Burnham School Awards were given to Erica Payne and Isaac Purdy.
Washington Primary School Awards were given to Caroline Kelly and Andrew Bryant.
Booth Free School Awards were given to Bianca Gomez and Daniel Ong.
