GENERAL RULES

1 . Admission, $8.00; Children under 12, free. Saturday & Sunday Senior Citizens Day $5.00.

2. Three-day tickets - $16.00; may be purchased up to Friday.

3. Industrial and Commercial Entries made to A. J. Murphy c/o P.O. Box 314, Bridgewater, CT 06752.

4. All entry blanks sent to committee heads.

5. Exhibits open to all.

6. No Industrial exhibitor may remove exhibits before 9:00 p.m. Sunday.

7. Cattle, Sheep and Poultry must be on grounds by 7:00 p.m. Friday.

8. Grounds will be policed from Thursday night before the Fair until Monday, the day after the end of the Fair, at 10:30 a.m.

9. No dogs allowed on fair grounds. Exceptions - guide dogs and pet parade dogs.

10. All bills of accounts must be submitted to fair on or before
September 15, Box 314, Bridgewater, CT 06752.
  • No pets allowed on the fairgrounds.
  • Animals in competition must have Rabies vaccinations

FAIR REGULATIONS

1. All exhibitors must have their stock ready for inspection Saturday at 10 o'clock or the committee will not be responsible for neglect in judging them.

2. No premiums will be paid on the dates of the Fair except where otherwise stated. Premium list must be given directly to the Treasurer.

3. All premiums awarded will be paid after October 1, by the Treasurer without solicitation, but if any exhibitor fails to receive his premium by November 1, they should notify the Treasurer, giving their post office address.

4. The officers will use all precautions for the safety of goods on exhibitions, but in no case will be responsible for any loss or damage which may occur. Goods will be housed in tents which will be patrolled nightly.

5. No animal or article shall receive first money unless shown against competition. Where there is no competition, blue ribbon and second place premium will be paid.

6. If the receipts should not be sufficient to pay the premiums in full, a proportionate reduction will be made in all classes.

7. The Fire Department will not be responsible for any damage done to persons, teams, automobiles, etc.

8. No vehicles on the grounds prior to 6 p.m. Sunday.

9. All livestock must remain on exhibit until 6 p.m. Sunday.

10. All concessionaires must pay full amount of privilege before setting up stand and doing business.

11. All vehicles carrying animals must enter the North Gate. No exceptions are to be made to this rule. No camping allowed on Fair Grounds.

12. It is important that the number of animals be specified on the entry. This is necessary so that the Livestock Committee can reserve the proper number of ties for each entry.

13. Entries for articles not listed in the Premium Book will not be accepted.

14. Exhibitors of Flowers, Vegetables, Fruits, Baked Goods, Needlework, and Hobbies do not receive a pass.
