Due to the limited cage capacity, entries will be accepted on a first come basis, until cages are filled.

RULES:
1. Send all entry forms to the Superintendent at the above address by
August 11
.
2. All entries must be owned by the exhibitor.
3. No telephone entries will be accepted.
4. All entries must be on a recognized breed and variety.
5. When entering state: breed, variety, cock, hen, cockerel, or pullet, name and address. Be sure to state whether Bantam, large fowl or waterfowl.
6. Waterfowl will also be entered as cock, hen, cockerel or pullet depending on age.
7. Only adult birds may be shown (5 months or older).
8. Entries will not be accepted after August 9.
9. No pens or trios.
10. All entries must be on the grounds by 7:00 p.m. Friday, and must stay on the grounds until 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Birds may be cooped-in on Thursday between 6 and 9 pm.
11. Entry fee of 50 cents with each bird, to be mailed with entry form.
12. Feed will be supplied by the Fair.
13. The Fair will not be responsible for any accidents, mistakes, loss or damage from any cause.
14. POULTRY-IN STATE: Poultry originating within the state must come from healthy flocks with no evidence of infectious, cantagious and /or communicable diseases. All birds must be inspected, identified and be accompanied by written proof (Connecticut Flock Test card of Connecticut Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory Report) that verifies that the breeding flock or the individual birds listed on the report were blood-test negative for Salmonella pullorum within 365 day of th show date. Concurrent Avian Influenza testing of the flock and/or individual birds is strongly recommended. Poultry vaccinated within 30 days with any live virus vaccine will be prohibited from sowing. All cages, creates or vehicles used for houseing or transporting poiultry mst be cleaned and disinfected fefore and after each show. Doves, pigeons, and waterfowl are exempt from testing requirements, but must be identified by leg bands or wing tags.
15. POULTRY-OUT OF STATE: All poultry must test negative for Salmonella pullorum within 12 months of the show date and be accompanied by this certificate. All poultry must comply with the Dept of Agriculture Avian Influenza requirements by originating from Al-Free flocks or be tested for Al within 30 days of entry and have a certificate. Nou poultry from any areas of any state having Avian Influena may enter Connecticut. Poultry vaccinated within 30 days with any live virus vaccine will be prohibited from showing. All cages, crates and vehicles used for housing and transportaing poultry must be cleaned and disinfected before and after each show. Doves, pigeons, and waterfowl are exempt from testing requirements, but must be identified by leg bands or wing tags.

JUDGING:
16. Judging will start at 10:30 a.m., Saturday.
17. Judging on first three only unless by request by the exhibitors in large classes.
18. The Judge will be instructed to withhold a prize or prizes when in his opinion the specimens are not of sufficient merit.
19. The decision of the Judge is final.
20. No advertising will be permitted on coops until the judging has been completed
