General Rules

1. All articles to be delivered between 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Needlework Tent.
2. All articles not cleaned and pressed will be barred from competition.
3. All decisions of the judges will be final.
4. All articles must be owned and done by exhibitor.
5. Only one exhibit in each class will be permitted, and only listed articles will be accepted.
6. Judging in all instances shall be based on merit of the exhibit and lack of competition shall not affect the award to be made.
7. Any premium may be withheld if, in the opinion of the judges, the exhibit is unworthy.
8. No article will be released without a claim check.
9. Exhibits will not be released until 6 p.m. on Sunday and all articles must be called for by 7:00 p.m. Any article remaining after this time will be disposed of by the management.
10. No article will be received or returned by mail.
11. The Bridgewater Fair will not insure articles against fire, theft, or damage of any kind. This may be done by the individual.
12. All articles must be completed within 12 months immediately preceding the Fair.
13. Doilies must be mounted.
14. Articles made from kits will be judged independently - will not compete against originals, etc.
15. Trophies will be presented for best article in each division.
16. Premium & ribbon for 1st, 2nd. Ribbon only for 3rd and 4th.
17. Ribbons only in miscellaneous class.
