Adult contest: Ages 16 and older
Junior contest: Ages up through 15

Again in 2011, we will use a system of pre-registration for the entries in the Home Baked Goods Department. We hope that this will alleviate the long line of entrants waiting to enter on Saturday morning.

Please call Forest or Jan at (860) 354-5621 by Thursday, August 18, 2011 with your planned entries. We will also accept entries that are not pre-registered. There will be two lines on Saturday morning: one for pre-registered entrants and one for non-registered. Entries will be accepted between 9:00 am & 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 20, 2011.

Bring your entries to the Fair Grounds on August 20, 2011. Baked goods must remain on display until 6:00 pm Sunday. No baked goods will be sold. Entrants may claim their entries at 6:00 pm on Sunday. Entries not claimed will be donated to the volunteers in the Home Arts Tent.

Categories are the same for both Juniors and Seniors.

Class I - Cakes
	• Layer - Loaf - Sheet	• Chiffon
	• Angel	• Sponge
	• Cupcake	• Jelly Roll
	• Fruit	• Spice
	• Misc.
Class II — Cookies
	• Bars	• Donuts
	• Brownies	• Health Food
	• Misc
Class III — Breads and Muffins

	• Coffee Ring	• Coffee Cake
	• Quick Breads	• Misc.
Class IV - Pies
	• Any kind of Pie or Tart
	• No Cream Pies or Cheesecake Please — Due to weather.
Class V - Candy
	• Fudge
	• Any other homemade candy

All entries must be on the Fair Grounds by noon on Saturday.
Baked goods will remain on display until 6:00 pm, Sunday.
