Bridgewater Country Fair

Exhibiting Rules

All senior and junior division entries must be placed between 8:30 am and 12:00 noon on Friday, August 19, 2011. No entries will be accepted after this time. The exhibit will be closed at noon for preparation and judging
Only one entry by an exhibitor in a class will be eligible for an award.
All entries must be clean, free from disease and insect injury.
In a class where more than one specimen is required, each should be selected for uniformity in flower size, shape, length of stem, and color, unless mixed colors are allowed.
Cut flower specimens should be entered with foliage.
The classification committee may subdivide varieties and colors where it is deemed necessary (i.e. Glads, Giant Zinnias).
All entries must be picked up at 6:00 pm on Sunday.
Any arrangement or award not picked up after 6:30 pm will go to the Fair Office.

Arrangements

Flowers arranged in an artistic manner in a container, other than clear glass.
Flowers should measure approximately 2/3 of the arrangement, container 1/3.
Flowers purchased at retail florist are not acceptable.
Base not to exceed 12 inches.
Cotainer is judged along with the arrangements.
