Chris Civitello has won the Chet Boyd Trophy numerous times over the last more than 35 years he has lived in Bridgewater. His specialties are the vegetable and baking contests.

On this page are a few photographs of his terraced, south-facing, vegetable garden.

He grows 5 kinds of tomatoes. He makes and cans his own sauce. He freezes other vegetables.

The pathways between his raised beds are covered with woodchips along with his closely spaced plantings appear to keep weeding to a minimum.
