The Bridgewater Country Fair is a long standing tradition, preserving the character of the country fairs of yesterday, when farmers and other country folk congregated to compete with their prized livestock, produce, and arts and crafts. It was also, and still is a place where one can compare the latest farm and lawn equipment and haggle on the price of a new vehicle.

Welcome

This is the 62nd annual Bridgewater Country Fair, and on behalf of the Bridgewater Fire Department, Bridgewater Woman’s Auxiliary and fair committee I welcome you.

Over the years we have seen the fair grow from a small carnival to one of the State’s major fairs.

Each year we dedicate a page in this book to members of our fair family who have passed away. This year, along with others, we lost a very active member of our fire department and fair family, Bonnie Lillis.

Bonnie was an active member of the fire department /ambulance and Women’s Auxiliary. Her family has shared in her commitment to the fire department and the fair.

Bonnie’s smile could brighten the rainiest fair day. In honor of Bonnie and her dedication, we are naming the superintendents choice award for the best JR. Hobby display in her name. She will be missed.

I wish to thank all who give so generously their time and resources to help make this fair possible. We couldn’t do it without you!
