A. Taking photos of an event.

1. Turn on camera. See on/off toggle switch on top of camera.

2. Make sure the round dial is turned to the "camera" diagram on the dial. The camera is now in "automatic" mode.

3. Take photos.

Dial now on ":automatic" mode.

B. Attaching photos to emsCharts.

1. Plug USB cable into camera (see above) and into the computer.

2. Set the dial to the triangle arrow. See diagram directly on the right. Note: This puts the camera into "preview" mode.

3. Turn on camera. At this point the computer will recognize the existence of the camera as though it is a hard disk.

 

4. On the right is Page 9 of emsCharts.
Click "Attach Files", which is at the top right side of this screen.

 

5. You will see a screen like that on the right.

a) Choose the "category" to be photo.

b) Then browse. Click on "My computer."

 

 

 

 

c) You will now see a screen like that on the right.
d) Click on "Canon PowerShot A470."

e) You will then see your photos. Add one at a time.
